Referring to any group of people who’s job it is to kill other groups of people as “moral” seems like a bit of an oxymoron to me. I get that the scale can tip really fucking far to the evil side but how close to the good side is it even possible to get?

I see nothing immoral in having an army to defend your country if invaded
Maybe they were “just following orders”.
Given the soldiers that killed unarmed hostages against the order of their field commander they’re not even doing that.
