There will be a proper primary in '28 and Newsome will be the Democratiic Mitt Romney. No ieea if he’ll win.
My favorite joke on Romney, I think it was Letterman? “Sears Catalog underwear model, Mitt Romney.”

That was my primary complaint about Harris, she had the same plastic, fake insincerity Clinton did.
I mean, I voted for her ANYWAY because the alternative is just… 🤢🤮
I mean, it’s right here:
Jesus fuck…
"The child is reportedly not expected to survive.
. . .
he had suffered a fractured skull, six broken ribs, and a broken collar bone."
Well, shit… “Wisconsin abolished the death penalty in 1853 after just one execution.”
I love Bernie, but he would not have won. He’s not healthy enough to have run a national campaign like that, not after his heart event in 2019.
In before “But… but… Bernie…”
I love Sanders like a brother, but a) he’s too old, he’ll be EIGHTY-SEVEN in 2028. And b) He’s just not healthy enough after having his heart stented in 2019.
Shit, I am decades younger and I couldn’t keep a campaign schedule after my heart surgery either(!)
Warren? 79 in 2028.
We don’t need more octogenarians in office.
This appears to be nothing more than a press release from a fringe group, not a news article. Removing on that basis.
She has no leadership in the party without an official leadership position in the House.
The only thing separating her from any other person in Congress is seniority. She’s #5 in congress behind 2 Republicans and 2 Democrats:
Hal Rogers - R - Kentucky - Dean of the House
Chris Smith - R - New Jersey
Steny Hoyer - D - Maryland
Marcy Kaptur - D - Ohio
I can’t speak for you, but I know I never heard of Marcy Kaptur before today. Steny Hoyer, definitely.
Surprising nobody…
Speaker of the House is different from Minority Leader.
She was removed as Speaker when the House fell to Republican control.
She voluntarily stepped down as minority leader almost exactly 2 years ago, replaced by Hakeem Jeffries.
She’s no longer a leader of the party other than in terms of seniority. Hasn’t been for 2 years.
I went out of my way to get one installed in a house that didn’t have one. So, yeah.
If yours is making a mess under the sink, it’s either broken or installed wrong.
Because the title of the post a) comes from the original source and b) also has nothing to do with previous elections.
1 in 5 voters, in this election, failed to vote on the ranked choice options when presented.
I’m sorry, a) your sources aren’t official and b) it’s factually NOT TRUE.
You are now banned for repeated misinformation.
You do know Pelosi stepped down from her leadership position almost exactly 2 years ago, right?
And still more useful than your sources.
Trump did not win New Mexico despite your claim that they could flip it by cheating, that’s not up for debate.
Voting machihes are NOT connected to the Internet, starlink or otherwise. Again, not up for debate.
Take your tin-foil hat somewhere else.
The thing is, the system completely changed to a point where it’s not comparable.
Old system:
5 city council members, elected city wide, vote for one person per seat, first past the post.
New system:
12 city council members, elected 3 per district, rank 6, top 3 elected.
So there’s more representation district by district, in fact, this is the very first time my district has had representation on the city council.
That would require Democrats to fight and not cave and we all know how that works out.
I’m saying Bernie supporters gonna Bernie. Hence “In before…”
Bernie was no more capable of winning '24 than '28. Fans will still float the idea.
I swear, it’s like the Ron Paul fanbase all over again.
