Some will definitely try the “don’t do it”s. If that is you, please report back after your experiment… Better if you can record it.

Peroxide + Hair Conditioner both sounds dangerous and like it could happen by accident.

I’d recommend against washing out hairbleach with hair conditioner, but you do you…

and report back from the hospital.

Ok, wtf are the “don’t do it” boxes? the serious toxic boxes explain what they do and are red. The red from the “don’t do it” boxes implies that it’s toxic gas bad, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be labeled if that’s the case

Hair Conditioner + Hydrogen peroxide: could potentially be used to lighten hair, but getting the concentrations right without ruining your hair and possibly damaging skin would be tough. Don’t do it.

Hair Conditioner + Lye: Lye is a highly caustic chemical and can cause severe chemical burns…putting it in hair conditioner serves no purpose other than to possibly create a scenario where someone thinks it’s a good idea to put it on their skin/scalp. Not a good idea. Don’t do it.

Toothpaste + Bleach. If you can’t see why this is a bad idea, you should give it a shot. I’ll have your Darwin award waiting for you. Don’t do it.

See, these were my conclusions for the first two. Mixing the two would imply using it on your hair and that’s fucking dumb, but why doesn’t it say “hair ruiner” or “scalp burns” instead of a the nebulous “don’t”.

Also, I use bleach and toothpaste as a cleaning agent all the time, putting it my mouth would be fucking dumb, but it’s great for tiles and grout.

But what if it’s the liquid that remains after you’ve washed up?

The weird part is they say when you add the liquid dish soap to water it makes “nothing”, it should make a sudsy dish cleaning bath

Years ago I was watching a documentary about trash and recycling. They interviewed the garbage truck driver who said people have to be careful what they throw out. The containers can be ruptured in the back of the truck and can mix. He mentioned brake fluid and powdered pool chlorine and coca-cola and powdered pool chlorine can be dangerous. One combination makes a poison gas, the other spontaneously combusts.

I think linseed oil on rags is one of the big ones that will spontaneously combust.

When I was painting cars, too much catalyst in composites can be one that gets hot enough to burn skin easily. I never had it combust but it felt close to hot enough a few times. One of my cheap and fast hacks is to use fleece fabric with fiberglass composite type resin. It soaks up a ton of resin and will take a shape in one go as something of a base molding form that can be worked with course shaping tools. That thick of material full of one mix of resin gets super smoking hot when the catalyst goes off.

Acquiring high strength hydrogen peroxide is not easy or anything like the junk sold in a pharmacy. Same for ammonia.

Lye+ cornstarch+vinegar? But the vinegar is an acid, and lye a base… You’re getting water there.
