“When you attack an opponent’s part of the national survival system, which is their triad, their nuclear triad — that means your risk level goes up because you don’t know what the other is going to do … It’s a very emboldened act. And when you do that, it’s very clear that the risk levels will go up. That is what we try to avoid,” Kellogg said

Is Kellogg working part time for Kremlin? It’s the same good old “don’t provoke Russia by defending yourself, let them have whatever they want”.

The “Spider Web” drone operation stunned the world with its audacity, with some keen watchers praising Ukraine for rewriting the rules of modern warfare. And others, like U.S. Special Envoy on Ukraine Keith Kellogg, expressing concern about the tactics.

“When you attack an opponent’s part of the national survival system, which is their triad, their nuclear triad — that means your risk level goes up because you don’t know what the other is going to do … It’s a very emboldened act. And when you do that, it’s very clear that the risk levels will go up. That is what we try to avoid,” Kellogg told Fox News on Tuesday.

Fuck this worthless toady of putin’s tool. Kick ass, Ukraine!

The thing to remember is that the united states doesn’t want a Ukraine victory. Especially now, but even during Bidens time. The USA during Bidens time just wanted russias resources depleted. The USA under trump just wants russia to win, but they can’t outright say that.

I don’t know which USA you’re in, but over here we’re all about a Ukraine victory and a stop to the war. Of course, MAGAts are dead confused because the Murdochian/Qanut sludge in their brain is messing with their heart. Those that aren’t smart enough to try and be on the grifting side of the corrupt demented rapist regime, that is.

I’m not talking about the citizens. I’m talking about government. Biden gave Ukraine weapons, and said “Here ya go. Just enough to keep you in the war, but you’re not allowed to use them on offense. Only defense of your own country. But we don’t want the war to END!”

And trump straight up wants Ukraine to lose.

Yes the decision to prevent them from striking deep in russian territory was too long to be changed.

In the first few months of the war, it made sense. Look if you want to go to war with russia, just do it. It’s probably not a terrific idea for some parts of the country though.

And 66.9 billion - if that’s “enough to keep you in the war” how much is that going to cost us when we go in full-time? And that’s not to mention the nukes which of course will now be front and center because the FEAR party is running things now.

And who the fuck said they didn’t want the war to end? I’m not buying that at all.

Yes, trump is a puppet of russia, and a demented rapist, and a fool. No argument there.

Believe it or not, relative to the US economy the 66.9 billion is not much. But it’s not actually about the money, a lot of that already was spent a long time ago on military hardware so the expense was already made. It’s about whether you let Ukraine use these tools or decomission them inside the US, because that’s whats happening with a lot of kit like Bradleys or Atacms. There’s zero financial reason to not give those (except maybe for transportation cost).

It’s hilarious that the new US regime think they’re bringing back a “warrior culture” but their words are quisling.

Incredible how they got to take their time to (presumably) target the areas that would deal the most damage.

I kept hoping to see one of the drones fly up an air intake. Perhaps not the best way to damage an aircraft, but goddamn it would be epic to see one blow up from the inside. Sadly, the air intakes are probably also covered while on the ground.
