Herringbone Cash, at your service.
I’m Tied-dyed Garcia, and this is NPR.
Global, local. I’m Paisley Cornell, and this is NPR.
I’m CADPAT Guthrie and I want to remind you that the second amendment includes liberals
There’s a fun game called “NPR host or Star Wars character?”
See how many you can get right!
Razia Iqbal
Cikatro Vizago
Kai Ryssdal
Ofeibea Quist-Arcton
Douali Xaykaothao.
Jek Porkins (lol)
I don’t know about the rest, but Jek Porkins died for the rebellion during the battle of Yavin, everyone who’s seen at least the original film should know this.
Im not a major fan but none of those sound like Star Wars characters to me so imma guess: all NPR?
what’s the pattern where you say “I’ll never do to my kids what my parents did to me” then you do, and they do it their kids? and it just runs in your family for decades
“I’m Floral Cass and you’ve been listening to NPR”
“I’m Herringbone Bowie and this is All Things Considered.”
Joining me now is Flecktarn Winehouse.
Fractal Knopfler
Don’t you scare me like that
Ah shit, it said deceased, sorry 😔 !
Hello, I’m Singleton Uematsu, welcome to NPR. Prepare for a major release of applause for the architect behind a truly class-ic framework, a gem of a developer: David ‘The Rails Alchemist’ Heinemeier Hansson!
What do you mean “we were not talking about software programming patterns”?
You made me look it up. Uematsu isn’t dead
Singleton is your favorite pattern? We can’t be friends anymore
That’s fine, they can only have one instance of a friend at a time anyway.
Chevron Shakur subbing in for morning edition. First up… just how many gummy bears can one put in their mouth? Scientists find out.
Do people just know names of patterns and have a favorite?
Flashback to when you used to be able to make stuff like this your desktop background, just changing the pattern, color, and if it would fill/tile/stretch etc.
Paisley. I finally can stop calling it “that paramecium design”.
oh, its vermicular michaelis. right.
Here you go buddy, see if there are any you like
https://www.thespruce.com/guide-to-common-fabric-patterns-and-types-3862921
Hm… It says common fabric patterns, so it probably doesn’t have that one 90’s paper cup pattern. I want to know if that one has a name.
Amazing. It has a name that perfectly fits the vibe! :D
I feel like that design was used everywhere back in the '90s not just on disposable cups.
I’m fairly sure it was used at the leisure centre I went to at one point. Probably without permission but I’m not sure if you can really copyright blue squiggle on turquoise squiggle.
You could go with a fractal. There’s that one that’s made out of Triforces.
Next you’re gonna tell me you don’t have a favorite bacteria.
Don’t bacilli, everyone has a favourite bacteria.
Stripe Monk… I sound more like a woodland critter.
