What’s the crime? Honest question, I’m not being facetious.

Presumably (if I had access to Putin) I could phone him and ask him to not escalate the war. Why is that illegal?

Guessing they meant as a violation of the Logan act. As he is not in office he isn’t supposed to be negotiating with foreign governments. The U.S. is providing military aid, and in truth not that he cares, but he isn’t up to date on U.S. Intel. Maybe they’ll tell us it was another law though

    Hahahahahahahahahaha.

    “Tells”.

I can’t even. I hope my downvoter voters appreciate the absurdity of the media portraying this dynamic of your dear leader.

Who are your downvoters? Looks like hardly anything you’ve posted in the last 24 hours has had more than one downvote. A couple of comments on China had slightly more.

Maybe I don’t get downvotes from specific instances over here on Fedia.

Well, when I was young I told my father to make it stop snowing. Eventually it did, and I gave him full credit.

Just to say it out loud: in the days after the election and call, Putin is amassing 50,000 troops for a big push. This is propaganda to make his eventual “negotiate peace by letting Russia keep whatever they have at the date of cease-fire” plan more palatable.
