Will they be exchanged with ruzzia? Or does Ukraine have to trade them with NK?

As soon as the first NK soldiers get captured it’ll be interesting who will ask for their release. Interesting especially on the political side of things. And what happens if noone asks for their release?

Odds are low that Russia or NK will want them back, and after being treated better as prisoners of Ukraine than they were at home they might seek asylum.

Much the same as when North Koreans defect to, or are captured in some way by South Korea. Literally all they have to do is feed them three meals a day and they never want to go back.

I think South Korea will take them and even intervene if North Korea or Russia tries to. The South Korean Government is always looking for ways to gather intel and generally re-patriot North Koreans. Many northerners still have family in the south that were separated by the war and indeed (IIRC) SK is technically still at war with the NK as there never was a peace treaty signed.

NK will happily take them back. And throw them straight into the gulag, of course. If they don’t shoot them right away.

No one knows. At the moment the world isn’t even sure whether to acknowledge that NK has become an official war participant or not.
