What in proposing is every post that gets put on Lemmy runs through a filter that says “if this image is censored, uncensor it” before it goes live. We can also keep the original for posterity.
It could also just be for communities on a particular server, like everyone doesn’t need to participate.
So this is the next phase of censorship they instead of not censoring, we censor the naughty words and then just grafitti it back up?

Those have cameras now. Walmart’s will lock you out and call an employee over if it thinks you didn’t scan something.
The one time I want to Walmart and did self check out I went quick like at the grocer. It scanned the item and the weight sensor couldn’t keep up and I got locked out.
When the employee came he barely glanced at the register as he unlocked it and left but I saw it playback a top down view of the register along with my face shot.
Yeah. Lots of cameras.
I found out about it when it actually caught me putting something in a bag without scanning it, because I was on autopilot and not paying attention to what I was doing.
But, like you, the employee didn’t give a fuck.
