    I don’t think I even have the right information they want unless they’re lenient (like accepting a very old school ID for photo ID).

      You can always stop in and ask, and if not you can look at stuff while there without checking anything out. My local library is half a block from the mechanic I usually go to so I’ll often wander over while my tires are being rotated and find some coffee table book to thumb through for 20 minutes

      Regarding ID they often just need proof of residence, which can simply be a utility bill in your name or they might even accept junk mail that’s addressed to you

        I looked at my closest library’s website, online-only lasts for 90 days. For a full card it states proof of residency or A form of identification that has your current , permanent address on it as a requirement (of which I don’t have the listed examples).

        Although I also depend on the weather being nice (it has been hot lately) to ride my bike to the town the library is in, so not too keen on the idea of needing to return stuff anyway.
