The technological society by Jacques Ellul. This book introduces a new way of looking at the world.
Donny, please…
I’ve not gone back to reddit since the big exodus a couple of years ago, was it? Aside from checking specific threads about pc issues I run into etc… Well actually I never had an account on reddit tbh, I was just browsing so I don’t know if it counts.
Why dude, could be fun, cocaine’s a hell of a drug hahahah
Oh jeez I’m sorry dude it’s ok here’s a point up or whatever we call it here. For what it’s worth I remember I did enjoy this one movie where he plays these twin writers or something. And that was double Cage right there
Yeah but nobody likes him
Even in the big lebowski?
To me that means these people can’t understand where their wheels are turning, the dimensions of their vehicle, where it starts and where it ends… Means they can’t drive for shit and they’re a danger to everyone around them. Imagine being allowed to drive tons of steel down the road and being unable to control what it does, that’s insane.
If you can’t perform basic maneuvers like parallel parking it means you have no idea where your vehicle stands on the road and you should not be allowed to drive.
“The plinth builderrrrr”
In case you were wondering
Can you explain how this works to a 5(0)yo who is unfamiliar with federated/defederated workings?
You sound like you’re about to lose your farm
I’d like to see named upvotes (if that’s already a thing, sorry I’m just a casual lurker couldn’t be bothered to find out)
That’s not a very interesting conversation, I will agree.
Fair enough, now that I’m aware of the context I get the spirit of the post. Still I wouldn’t let sea lioning or whatever it’s called dissuade people from having conversations.
I guess I’m missing the context here, I have no idea who these people are or why they’re marginalized. But generally speaking not engaging in civilized discourse does not help.
I think the industry still thinks their target audience is 12 year olds. It’s evident also in the aesthetic of the games they make. That being said I am seeing a slow change for the better. If only I could say the same about the prices…
