It wasn’t “possibly illegal”, it was just plainly illegal.

    Why were they allowed there at all? Angry orange is not a government employee anymore. If it was for just a photo op, can just anyone go there for that?

      Without enforcement or something on scene, they don’t really have much recourse. Even if they did, it’s debatable what his secret service detail would do if Trump just shoved his way through and they tried to physically stop him.

        The recourse is a police report that goes to the DA, and making the record public. In other words, Arlington handled it just how they should.

        His secret service team shouldve advised him of the illegality at least. That should be part of their protective duties
