I could list all the international laws and UN conventions that Israel is breaking every day, of which we have seen a tiny, tiny piece. But this has already been said thousands of times. She technically says “it doesn’t bite” rather than stick, but I don’t think that kind of phrasing works in English. In essence, it means to have an effect. She expresses that nothing she can say will have any sort of effect, so why bother talking about it? That it’s not like we’re unaware of what’s going on, but that we’re choosing to ignore it.
