I think it’s the latter, there are poor pedophiles after all. But when you get rich enough you slowly find yourself without real friends that can relate to you and vice versa, there’s no trust and then it’s just ego-boosting yes-people surrounding you all of a sudden. Of course you’re gonna end up thinking you’re irresistible, untouchable and able to get away with traumatizing underage teens.
And that’s not even accounting for the kind of mindset one has to have in order to get to the top, all the wage theft and pollution etc.
