There are also things like meatballs baked into subs, but none of this really seems healthy. You could try taking whole cereal grains, frying them up and using an egg to bind it. Could add bits of meat. From there, bake or dehydrate it. Might need some fine tuning. The first few batches might come out a bit over-crunchy.
