I promise I’m not being extra.

Anyone else not have edibles work for them?

Have a high tolerance for pain and weed both. Multiple sources. Legal states. 100+ mg. Nothing.

Curious if there are others. Had someone tell me one time they think it could be like the red headed pain tolerance thing.

I’m convinced that when they say edibles contain an amount of thc, what they REALLY mean is that’s how much thc WOULD be in it if whatever process used to extract thc from plant matter was 100% efficient with perfect yields. Anyone that’s ever tried to make weed edibles at home should know that this never happens.

I’m just saying. Even on chemistry videos of decarboxylations (of things that aren’t weed) even using glassware, temperature control and a bunch of extra bullshit you definitely don’t have in your kitchen, they STILL get dogshit yields.

Yeah, some of us just have to take a ridiculous amount for them to work. I will get a mild body buzz if I take 800-1000 mg, and an actual decent high if I take 1500+ mg.

I still get ripped off of flower and concentrate, so I’m not worried. I will say that the edibles take forever to wear off once they do finally kick in. I’m talking I’ll take 1500 mg after breakfast, party all day and still have a nice buzz when I go to sleep that night. Due to this, I only do edibles once or twice a year.
