Butter was my preferred means, mainly because I worked at a movie theater and had access to a lot of butter. I’ve used heavy milk and made ice-cream and once bread. The bread was light green and tasted like shit, but it still worked. The ice-cream was gross too. But when you started thinking you might like another scoop you knew it was working.

Acetone is how I made hash for years. These days I make bubble hash with ice water and extremely fine mesh sieves.
