you can’t steal a meme. Thats what makes it a meme. It goes around as a culutural phenomenon, being riffed on and referenced and turning into a meta thing and then dying.

A meme’s whole purpose is to propagate.
I sentence you to radial blur on everything
Instead of just taking whatever someone else posted, I spend about 20 seconds to a minute on average to find a better copy using reverse image search or just find the original post. Sometimes it’s a tweet and I just take a new screenshot. Comics are generally really easy to find the original.
This is why you make your own memes. Fresh from the farm- I mean image editor, and with far less compression artifacts.
