i’m pretty sure KDE can still do this
my only real problem is snaps. and how often they seem to come up with community-hurting stuff like snaps.
like when they put amazon ads in ubuntu. i’m pretty sure they were sending your searches to amazon at some point. or when they decided to fork gnome 3 instead of helping the team fix it properly.
communicating with your supporters in a mostly political mission is very important. meta has deleted the account of political activists in my country before too and it does hinder their efforts.
meta is one of the surveillance arms of the empire that makes the genocide possible in the first place.
of course they will cut them off.
not tech-saavy
that’s like owning a classic sports car and refusing to learn the basics of maintenance. just a bad time.
yeah, shame on meta like always, but if you are going against an empire, you should at least make sure your critical communications are not on the empire’s servers.
literally just noticed its salami lol
looked just like minced meat to my sleep deprived self.
tracking doesn’t only mean location.
and the power they get is not only tracking. its shutting down their communications too.
i dunno that meat looks kinda raw
is this the end of the thread? my mobile app shit itself in this thread.
yes, but i don’t think handing all their communications (and possibly much more) to the entity they want to pressure is helping though.
i’m sure they will do that
or like any opsec at all.
relying on whatsapp for dissenting
more leftists could really use understanding computers. how the fuck can you go in such a mission full of the empire’s tracking devices. using whatsapp shows there wasn’t even thought put into it.
i’m not from the us, and the word for billionaire is almost the same in my language.
brace for the pop, this one gonna be loud.
hating on milliardaries doesn’t feel as impactful and cathartic.
last time i reformatted was in the pandemic. dunno when next time is gonna be, but it’s definetly gonna debian or fedora instead of ubuntu.
go to their gigs
