That’s a lot fewer dead civilians in a lot more time. I know the situations aren’t the same but it’s still two countries invading another and killing people.

They don’t, but they also kinda do … They communicate with each other and with animals, they have different chemical reactions to different stimuli, etc. just because they’re different from you doesn’t mean they don’t suffer. Maybe the fact that the experiment was done when outside were only 20-22 degrees made the difference less noticeable? Otherwise I can’t explain why all the other tests I’ve found said the difference was 5-10+ degrees.

Could you link one of these? All the ones that I can find say there’s quite a bit of a difference

Mythbusters did an experiment with a black car and a white car hitting in the sun. The black car was 12 degrees Celsius hotter. Claiming that the paint makes no difference is such a weird take. I thought this was common knowledge as well as many people I’ve met avoid darker colours in summer and such.

It has technically already been adapted, but it was a stupid procedural cop show with a twist rather than what it should be. If you want a more formulaic thing, just copy Amazon’s Reacher.

Plus, since it’s an urban fantasy, it should be cheaper to make than most other fantasy/sci-fi shows, I think.
