The screenshot is a little lackluster but the video below shows it off better. The camera is an APSC sensor but the picture fills a full frame with very little vignetting. Up to 100x it looks pretty good but yeah, the DoF is literally micrometers thick.

FreeCAD has a steep learning curve, I’ve only just started with it, but it seems to cover every possible use case. Good luck!
Just PLA, I’ve only had the printer for a week. It will make it though the winter but I’m not sure about the rest of this summer.
You can import an image to an image plane using the Image Workbench then scale it. After that it can be shown or hidden like any other part of your design so you can just trace over it.

I plan on cranking out replacement and upgraded parts for it now that I got the stringing under control.

Thanks, I ended up using a photo to get the profile into FreeCAD. It’s not a friction fit but with the phone in place it’ll never move.
Around 2007 I had a Windows laptop die on me and drove me to device agnosticism. Maybe I learned the wrong lesson but now I keep my OS and data separate enough that a b0rked OS is an hour’s inconvenience instead of a day’s recovery.
Still, it’s pretty awesome that you can just shuck a drive into a totally new machine and only have to adjust network settings.
I know it is kinda frowned on but I like to use new directories at root to cut down on confusion as to where things are. Video storage for the NVR goes in /video, user data for Nextcloud goes in /data, etc. But I also keep everything in it’s own LXC so I don’t have one machine with 30 extra directories cluttering up the root.

I’ve been using Linux as a desktop and server since 2015, before that I was Windows only from 1995. Regedit scares me.
0-50f is cold enough to kill you by exposure, 75f is comfortable, 100f is uncomfortable, higher than 100f can kill you. Seems kinda arbitrary to me.

The CRV has dogshit security.
The doors can be unlocked using a relay attack done with off the shelf radio gear. Once the doors are open a new keyfob can be paired to the car using more off the shelf tools and another relay that makes the car think the owners fobs are in the vehicle. The whole process takes 5 minutes and can be done by an unskilled person. I have video of the whole process happening in my driveway.
And I am not saying that proprietary tools are the answer. Requiring literally ANY user interaction with the keyfob to unlock the door OR when pairing new fobs to the car would prevent the majority of thefts. Requiring the manufacture to digitally sign fobs when pairing to a car would prevent this. Given that ALL of these vehicles come with wireless communication, whether it is enabled for you or not, having a remote disable would prevent stolen vehicles from being moved around.
Whether by ignorance or cost cutting Honda is 100% responsible for the complete lack of security features on their vehicles.
What if I have all of those?
In 2022 more than 1% of CRVs were stolen in Canada! More than 1 in every 100 fucking CRVs!

I took this approach as well but I let Grub add Windows as a boot option. No mashing keys at post and Windows doesn’t get to touch Grub or Debian.
