99% of everything I have ever seen on Threads is pure distilled engagement bait,
That sounds exactly like XTwitter…
It’s all he claimed to be trying to do.
In most states, it’s legal to walk around toppless.
However that doesn’t atop some Karen type from calling the police to come and harass you. And there’s no guarantee the cop that shows up won’t decide you are disturbing the peace or something.
Nor does it stop immature bros from being idiots about it and making the person feel unsafe.
The risk of the payment system getting shut down and people being unable to make payments for a while is real. And it is one good reason to be less reliant on digital payments.
Exactly.
Part of the card processing system goes down often enough due to various technical failures that it should just be good business sense to always be capable of accepting cash.
Stores where I live have had to go cash only a few times a year when one or another issues shuts down their ability to accept cards.
You would think any functioning capitalist would have a backup method of taking your money.
And who carries enough cash around to be useful any more?
I do. Maybe not physically in my pocket, but between my wallet and my home there’s enough cash to buy a tank of gas and a few days of groceries.
Parts of the debit/credit processing system are fragile enough that I’ve seen them down randomly for signifigant portions of a day.
Cash has got me food when other people have been stuck without the ability to pay more than once in the last couple of years.
JD Vance, adopted an unapologetic stance, telling NBC that Americans “need to stop getting so offended”.
Yet he continues to be offended by couch references…
but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it in light of Trump’s utter mishandling of Hurricane Maria.
I’ve seen MSNBC using the clip of Trump tossing paper towels as part of their coverage of this latest anti Puerto Rico crap.
The Trump team knew what they were getting when they hired this guy.
That’s the important point. They don’t get to back away and claim it just some random thing that some random guy said.
They knew exactly who this guy was, and they specifically invited him to speak on their stage in front of their audience.
I’d rather not become the monsters just to get rid of the monsters.
Fuck is wrong with people.
They’re all too busy believing the loudest person in a suit that they can find.
Surely being loud in a suit means what you say is important, right? The louder the more important… and look at how long that tie is. Surely that’s the bestest person to listen to.
Seems a bit suspect.
Typical for the Russian legal system
Picture this when ever you see that Orange Turd walk on camera. That is what he brings.
Also the smarmy couch-fucker who is riding on his coattails.
Or, to be as charitable as possible, they’re useful idiots who are lazily unaware of how heinous the people they’re blindly following are.
Greg Abbott and Donald Trump should be sued for maliciously causing death.
If anything he’s being a bit generous.
After Sunday’s rally, a senior adviser for the Trump campain, Danielle Alvarez, said in a statement that Hinchcliffe’s joke did “not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”
Your team knew exactly who he is and you specifically invited him to be part of your event.
Are you implying that the assassination attempt(s) might be attempts to save the GOP?
The second would-be assassin seemed to think so.
That’s been pretty clear for a few decades.
