That weird city where the dem mayor sold out for Trump? Shocker
Plenty of excellent journalists have been tied to corporate publications for decades. A couple great New Yorker staff writers come to mind, like Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow
What a world we live in that we have to have articles like this
No offense but wtf Nate? Why would you use 2016 data when early voting was massively expanded since 2020?
Editorial boards are independent from newsrooms. They publish all sorts of opinions. That’s the point of the op ed sections of new outlets.
Different security step.
In March 2023, the TSA added a cybersecurity emergency amendment to its cybersecurity programs. The amendment required airlines like Delta to develop “policies and controls to ensure that operational technology systems can continue to safely operate in the event that an information technology system has been compromised,” CrowdStrike’s complaint said.
Google Voice?
This depends on the type of food.
Fresh meat? Don’t push it.
Tofu? What, is the bean curd going to curdle?
Ok. Find me some major topics covered in other outlets that WaPo didn’t cover. If you’re making a point, please give evidence, as I did above
Read your article please?
Lewis begins the job Jan. 2
So, an article posted in late ‘23 says he begins in January. We’re agreeing he started in ‘24?
That was actually in 2024, so my point stands (not disagreeing with your sentiment though). This year has been the first time Bezos really inserted his views into the Post
Not at all. I’ve been making this argument for years on other sites. It’s always come up with at least 2/3 negative articles when you type in “Amazon” on WaPo.
The only evidence I’ve seen against me is stupid memes that screenshot the rare op ed defending Amazon
Is that a joke lol? Or are you too lazy to literally go to their website and type in “Amazon”?
There have been plenty, to answer your question.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2024/06/15/amazon-one-medical-patient-safety/
That’s just the first page (everything else that came up was about the Amazon rainforest)
On one hand, it’s true that he has exerted little influence before this year. On the other hand, “it doesn’t even matter” is a shit argument to silence your staff
“Lost” seems disingenuous here if we’re talking about casualties. I thought they mean 10,000 died. Ig in the strictest sense of the word they lost then
Sure, but that’s super naive. Holding out against a dem in this election reaffirms the recent defeats or progressives in their primaries. That means the entire US Overton window shifts back further right for a decade
A chance to do what? Kiss Putin’s ass again?
Ah yes and the Republicans are checks notes the progressives?
