Nazis in Germany, what could go wrong?
Same as always, protecting capital.
I just go in raw dog.
Nah I still love Fedora. Just wish they’d stick to the same kernel version per release. A little more stability could go a long ways.
It really is a stupid reason. I should probably just replace the printer. I’m just too stubborn.
Yeah I have Silverblue and I could roll back if it’s a horrible break. I just don’t want to be stuck not updating for weeks or months while the issues are worked out.
Not very easily. I’ve looked into it and decided it wasn’t worth the trouble. I only use immutable these days. NixOS makes using an LTS kernel really easily, but I could never get my piece of shit printer to work there. Works fine on Fedora.
Had the same experience when I used Arch. It is way easier to use an LTS kernel there at least. But nah I’m all in on the immutable OS at this point. I used to use NixOS but could never get my piece of shit printer to work. Totally fine out of the box on Fedora.
Man I dread every time there’s a new kernel update on my Fedora machine. I just feel like something always breaks.
If you use Signal it has a note to self feature which is really similar functionally to something like Pocket.
Same here. I refuse to do it. Even for a game I’ve been really eagerly anticipating. I’ll wait a few months for even a small sale now. Usually a good amount of bugs have been patched out by then anyway.
I use nwipe at work: https://github.com/martijnvanbrummelen/nwipe. I have no idea if it’s better or worse than the methods already being discussed here, but its been my preference for years.
Those “luxury” apartments are glorified shoeboxes with shared patio and pool access.
I’d do the same thing if my country was invaded every few decades.
A USB flash drive is a terrible medium for something like this.
I don’t think they’re usually abandoned. At least not right away. But they rarely still get feature updates. Mostly just bug fixes. Not sure if it’s just different developers not wanting to stick to the same project of someone else’s code or what.
“Sign in to confirm your age”
No, I don’t think I will. Thank you.
“I can fix Lonestar.”
Idk what you’re saying man but I don’t think I’m implying that.
