that’s maybe $200k if it’s covered in gold, but if that’s an actual gold bar, then it’s worth a couple million or so.
And I really hope it stays that way, at least until it’s not my problem to worry about anymore.
It’s Gitea with some security fixes and community input, as open source software should be.
I’ve been using copyparty for months, and it’s just been an absolute gem. and the fact there are even iOS shortcuts to upload things you stumble across while doomscrolling is just icing on top.
Even if it comes in very fast, you’re still talking about many months of forewarning, perhaps even many hundreds of years if it was a “normal” star instead of something like a brown dwarf.
