I was working for a company that was renovating and upgrading the water filtration system in the ass end of nowhere and we had some official show up to ask us what we were doing b/c someone called us in thinking we were terrorists sabotaging the water system.

It probably only eats a specific type of plastic. There are tons of different plastics all formulated differently, some could be toxic to the bacteria.

Conformity of thought, belief, or action isn’t the problem. The oroblem is treating some people or groups as less than human and not deserving of equal rights and opportunities.

What a waste of resources

Man they are going to ride the pandemic as a cause for high prices until it’s a skeleton just skidding on the ground. It’s been four years since pandemic supply issues, pretty sure those are over now. Unless they mean the price gouging that happened then that hasn’t gone down.

The easier solution is to say that since it’s too hard for X to do, X doesn’t get to operate anymore and shut X down.

That kind if abstract thinking isn’t in that person’s wheelhouse. They’re focused on their next meal, which bill to pay (or partially pay), and if that pain is worth the time/money lost going to urgent care. They aren’t thinking about the long term effects or side effects of political arguments.
