Why do that using unkillable things
Why do that using unkillable things
Now do it for southwest, where it actually matters.
Ed Debevic’s!
If the camera system + software results in being 1% safer than a human, and a given human can’t afford the lidar version, society is still better off with the human using the camera-based FSD than driving manually. Elon being a piece of shit doesn’t detract from this fact.
But, yes, a lot of “ifs” in there, and obviously he did this to cut costs or supply chain or blahblah
Lidar or other tech will be more relevant once we’ve raised the floor (everyone getting the additional safety over manual driving) and other FSDs become more mainstream (competition)
I wear many hats. You failed, BTW.

I prefer to reduce demand, instead. Everyday people who feel happy and safe don’t feel the need to be violent.
Authors didn’t invent the alphabet. Painters didn’t invent colors. It’s rearranging pre existing work in a way that makes sense to the rules of a new system. Need a stronger definition to explain the difference.
What if he wrote the technology himself? Would that count?
What about games with “procedural generation” - does that count?
What are problems that Uber fails to address, that a customer cares about? Twisting words / rules so they can make more money is something public corporations are required to do. They HAVE to maximize shareholder value. Laws set guardrails against that, driven by what society agrees is “right”
Do you… remember taxis?
Yes, public transportation is awesome and I wish it didn’t suck where I live. But publicly traded companies are legally obligated to look out for themselves. The problem is government, yo - that’s what decides what corpos can’t do according to what society feels is “right”.
It’s always possible the friends were in the same league as OP
You said “not” twice, so…
Just because it’s possible, doesn’t mean it’s common.
It’s hard to convince tech people to be activists. There’s this other term, in between bougie and proletariat that classifies the people in between. Something like, the people who have it just good enough to not give a shit.
And that’s like all of tech.
