Looks like it could have come from a cancelled Command and Conquer game.

Perhaps, but it was just in regular comments, not admin actions. Maybe I just got unlucky RNG.
Never seen the .ml instances or hexbear?
Yeah, I blocked the entire Blahaj instance a while ago. I cant think of a single user I have seen from that instance that isn’t unsavory. Hopefully things improve soon.
So I wasn’t the only one that read “China will grow larger” and immediately thought of C&C Generals Zero Hour lol
MS Paint. Mouse only.
Kim would need a brain bigger than the rockets he keeps testing to come up with this idea though.
He’s definitely got OP magic abilities. And a huge harem. Its a romcom under the pretenses of a fantasy adventure, 100%.
Yeah I don’t think people have much of a problem with a cartoon or a meme, as long as it isnt a real photo of a real person (or AI generated/whatever, looks real).
Not sure about NSFG tag though, I think that umbrella is too large. Also, depends on the grandma.
Most people who need insulin administer it very differently from people injecting heroin, for example. I am sorry for people that do need insulin injections, but I don’t really want to see that without any warning on my frontpage.
Diabetics I have known that do require insulin injections also usually have a device that covers the needle similar to what an epipen looks like. The needle itself is not actually very visible, and the injection site is often clean and not swiss cheese.
Basically, I don’t exactly want my frontpage to assault my eyes with heroin addicts posting pictures of themselves shooting up because they think its totally fine to post that since there is no rule requiring that to at least be NSFW tagged.
What about a person injecting themselves? I don’t think anyone is necessarily complaining about smoking, but personally I don’t exactly want to be seeing pictures of people injecting themselves or others, others especially, without any potential warning.
I think it would be safer to have an NSFW tag, especially considering the different ways people use drugs and the various effects of it.
Knight? Isnt that like, an ancient Syrian or Sumerian or something?
From what I remember, the Mirror on the Wall never said she was ugly, just that Snow White was “the fairest of them all,” or “the prettiest/most beautiful one of them all.” She could have been pretty still, just not the prettiest.
“They don’t have good manners, so I won’t have good manners” is a terrible way of thinking and living. If everyone did this, it would only take one person to completely eradicate good manners from humanity forever.
… But what about the milk?
People who actually think this are using it as an excuse for their bad manners.
The person employed by the supermarket to gather carts is not employed to return your cart to the cart return near your vehicle. They are employed to gather the carts from the cart return near your vehicle and bring them back to the store building’s cart return.
By doing this, you do not create more jobs (as the cart return employee position already exists whether you return your cart or not), you create more work for an already probably underpaid employee and you also increase everyone’s autoinsurance because when the wind blows the carts damage other people’s vehicles.

I have a very long list of blocked political keywords and yet somehow Lemmy users find a way to make political posts that get around all my filters. It is very frustrating. So now I have started just blocking individual users if they post about politics, because a person that posts about it once is most likely going to do it again.
Lemmy without politics is kinda a ghost board. There is maybe 3 or 4 new posts a day. For someone who is not so active, its not much of a problem, but compared to Reddit it is highly frustrating that so much Lemmy content is about politics.
The people I interacted with from that instance before I blocked it were very not chill. Maybe the chill people joined after I blocked the instance.
