Here it is defined in the collective bargain. So if you have 30 notice period and want to reduce it to 15 you have to bargain for it through one of the workers’ union present in the negotiations with the company.
So a company with a higher revenue may reclaim higher costs, even if they paid like shit? Doesn’t look fair to me. In Spain that penalty for not complying with the notice period is automatic. Also companies hiring don’t care for references unless they know directly the person that wrote it (so only useful for small indistry sectors).
In Spain you may resign before, but they can subtract for each missing working day to the notice period end the money they own you (it is a penalty, not just discounting from salary the days you are not working). In some cases leaving workers use their remaining PTO days to exchange to leave before the period of notice as they have the same value. So in Spain a greater period of notice can result in bigger penalties when leaving a company, while companies can fire you on the spot (paying the required severance).
That’s crazy. So if they present a same day resignation note they have to pay a three month salary penalty? That’s just companies stealing workers’ money.
I don’t know what are you talking about. In my country the standard is two weeks and max one month in special cases. I’ve participated in the hiring of multiple people from different European countries and they never asked for more than one month to join in, except when they wanted to relocate.
But GrapheneOS is unrooteable by design…
Create multiple branches that only differ in cases from a Unix OS so it breaks git for Windows users in the same project.
Yes, but that would be a lot less efficient. With a dielectric mirror you can get easily 99.9% of the maximum momentum gain from the light, while with a solar powered laser you would get for the emission the compounded efficiency of the solar panel + storage + laser, so way below 10%. So you would gain around 10 times more impulse from your solar panel absorbing light than from the actual laser.
The final momentum gain is a bit different as the maximum you can gain from a photon is double its momentum (because you can reflect it back with opposite direction).
Nowadays people use radical in political terms as another word for extremist, but it used to mean going to the root causes. Equality and justice, or the lack of, are the root of many political issues. So you are radical in a way, but that is good.
He didn’t even have a noble goal, that was the excuse. All he did was because he wanted to.

In most cases no. Sometimes they let their developers contribute to the open source projects for a small percentage of their working time.
Also I feel like the bare metal ones would collect a bunch of mud inside filtering through the gaps and affecting the balance.
Here the more pragmatic use of truth is being used, which most of the people would agree in its objectiveness. Either the real person did the call or not.
Even in the philosophical concept of truth different schools of thoughts have different views on its objectiveness. Here is a better resource I think.
Capital and price are imaginary. Why are you evaluating a system by random concepts that don’t correspond to anything real?
Maybe use a metric with actual real meaning like fraction of people with basic necessities covered.
It’s weaponized bigotry. The right needs to create an imaginary enemy for their culture war. Also racism.
