I haven’t, I recognize that the dome concept isn’t particularly original. It just started as a way to keep my players focused on the main conflict and not have to worry about them forcing me to develop the rest of the world. Then I decided ti give the dome story elements.
My planned d&d setting that took place in a country on the brink of invasion that turns to a magical dome for protection and the fallout from the total isolation from that decision feels a lot less fun now.
