All I have seen is that self driving cars will decide to kill people because they cannot make decisions about life in a way that preserves it.
Do you have any examples?
Independent thinker valuing discussions grounded in reason, not emotions.
Open to reconsider my views in light of good-faith counter-arguments but also willing to defend what’s right, even when it’s unpopular. My goal is to engage in dialogue that seeks truth rather than scoring points.

Got too close for comfort nevertheless.
I’m no phycisist but I’d bet that the claim “it consumes no energy” is almost certainly false. I get what they mean but this isn’t exactly a honest way to describe it.
Cheaper, safer and one extra seat.
We’re obviously not there yet but I haven’t heard a single good argument for why we wouldn’t be in the future.
Humans are not getting any better at driving. Self-driving cars will eventually lead to tens of thousands of human lifes saved annually. Why do you want to prevent this?
I don’t get how it is so hard for people to admit that some number of the “Pro Palestine” people are motivated by antisemitism just the same way Hamas is. Not everyone, but some, and the rest turn a blind eye to it.
Interesting how the response in comments entirely depends on whose doing the torturing despite the fact that in both cases we’re still talking about the same group of civilians.
Internal affairs will be in contact with you shortly.
Well yeah… Having money is not fun. Getting money is fun.
Hate to be that guy again, but you forgot the period at the end of your sentence.
Agreed. Hate is poison to the mind. To me, it means you want to destroy something on sight. I can’t think of a single thing I dislike that much
Hate is such a powerful emotion. I can’t honestly think anything that I hate. I dislike many things but not hate.
It starts by being the best feeling in the world and then you just slowly get used to it and it becomes quite mundane. Some people intrepret the honey moon period ending as the amount of love decreasing but in reality it just changes. This happens to everyone. Also, the first time is usually the best feeling one, especially in the beginning, while probably not objectively best of all the relationships you’re going to have.
Immediate inflation is what would happen.
Think about all the things you used to wish for that you now have. Did it stop you wanting more things?
Having things is not fun. Getting things is fun.
I don’t think she’s a communist, and I’ve never claimed otherwise. I even acknowledged this in the part you’re quoting, yet you still choose to misinterpret my views.
“Some of Taylor Swift Fans Are Leaving Twitter for Bluesky After Trump’s Election”

Put that into your adblocker custom filters. Just change the lemm.ee to lemmy.world (or what ever instance you’re on)
Maybe she’s not but her father was a marxist economist. Maybe that doesn’t mean anything to you but would you think the same about Donald’s father if he was a literal fascist? I doubt it.
You just keep assuming everyone sees the world the way you see. “No one with any intellectual honesty thinks that Harris is a communist.” is no different that the right claiming “No one with any intellectual honesty thinks that Trump is a fascist.”
If you want to win elections you need to get some of the people who voted for Trump to vote for your candidate the next time. Calling them fascists is not helping. It already got you Trump twice.
Don’t contribute to malice what can be explained by ignorance.
