what would you clock me to be?

Deceptive? I’ve never once in my life heard an American use clock in a personal manner like that. Clocks are for telling time and counting seconds in a race.

I liked the bit about poll watching. Is this a checklist for things that will be infiltrated for the next election?

Am I a useful idiot for calling out the obvious and furthering the division?

I hate US election season in the Internet era.

For good measure so I know you’re an American, post a picture of Sims - 3, with a sticky note and your username.

Edit: Just so this post gets seen… Stuxnet assassination in Minecraft, with nuclear capabilities. Thanks 🫡

  • She used her car wreck claim from the year prior as a way to get disability payments. It’s right there in the short article.

Car wreck in 2017. Tree throwing contest in 2018.

The court had previously been told that the married mother-of-two, from Ennis in Co Clare, had spoken to doctors days after winning the Christmas tree-throwing contest.

She had claimed that she could no longer lift a heavy bag without suffering a shooting pain. Grabska quit her job and received disability payments, the court heard.

  • I don’t need to read someone’s both-sides (or single-sided anger baiting) comment history to see the propa glow (or the drunken red chubby cheeks of useful idiocy).

Edit: but now that I have, it’s random American pop culture with vile hatefilth every few posts. I always should give the usual idiots the benefit of the doubt, because it turns out it was you that was posting “traitorous Republican filth” all over which prompted my original comment. How nice.

  • 90% of Republicans are “Republican” in the same way that 90% of people who celebrate Christmas are Christian.

There was a minority (as far as total number of Republicans) of extremists at the capital as there are extremists in every group. But it’s funny that every one of those people seemed to be consuming and sharing Russian propaganda on social media. And Fox/Tucker Carlson and other complicit news agencies with the buildup.

It’s laughable the older I get seeing how many useful idiots there are. Including comrade cabron up there ^ either working for them, or chasing their carrot.

I say we execute all extremists in Minecraft. Problem solved for at least one generation.

I kid, violence against extremists creates even bigger violence. But soon the internet will be sectioned off by country or countries. Russia, China, Iran and many other middle eastern countries are already doing it. And everyone will be happier… for a while.

  • Where can you see the upvotes/downvote userlist of a comment on Lemmy? This comment has 21 upvotes as I write this.

Did you just comment basically the same thing in another thread? “republican traitor filfth”? or is that some new talking point when it comes to Russia? To automatically make anyone think everyone who votes Republican is a horrible traitor (I’m not, many fine people around me are)?

Oh man I miss the calm of non US-election-season internet. No astroturfing.

  • Once they do? Stuxnet was what, 2010? And because of the coding error that caused it to spread outside the enrichment plant it was found out and only set them back something like 2 years.

    From AP:

Iran, after the collapse of its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, has pursued nuclear enrichment just below weapons-grade levels. Tehran has accumulated enough enriched uranium to build several weapons if it chooses. However, U.S. intelligence agencies and others assess that Iran has yet to begin a weapons program.

Iran is “presenting a face which is not entirely transparent when it comes to its nuclear activities. Of course this increases dangers,” Grossi said. “There’s loose talk about nuclear weapons more and more, including in Iran recently.

Since 2022, Iranian officials have spoken openly about something long denied by Tehran as it enriches uranium at its closest-ever levels to weapons-grade material: the Islamic Republic is ready to build an atomic weapon at will. That includes Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who told Al Jazeera that Tehran has the ability to build nuclear weapons but does not intend to do so.
