Fucking annoying how often it’s the trauma, really.

He’s probably on some weird designer drug. Not because he has to evade tests like athletes, but just because he thinks it makes him smarter than taking FDA approved drugs.
This is how I know aggressive instance bans for bigotry work: I haven’t seen any of that. Sincere condolences to everyone who has to see the open sewer.
This is one of those videos that always has me absolutely losing it every time I watch it.
My husband is going to have to upgrade his work computer because there’s no way it’s lasting four more years 😔
The back of a sewing needle would probably be ideal to push it through.
Shit, I need to level up. That sounds much more cathartic.

If they’re properly maintained… fucking PG&E!
I’ve found !trans@lemmy.blahaj.zone to have a more active community and better modding.
Sometimes I see those little “self driving” (usually remote driven IIRC) delivery robots and it’s usually a bit of a jump scare, because you don’t hear them coming up behind you or around a corner over the street noise.
The rest of the time it’s funny, because they’re stuck or because someone just never came to get the delivery and it’s just standing there uselessly.
I have terrible allergies, who can say when a terrific sneeze will come upon me? Who can say.
This is the absolute biggest downside for me when I cross the 8 lane highway to walk in and enjoy the rich people neighborhood near me. Either literally no sidewalks on some streets, or the fucking land boats blocking the entire sidewalk.
The knowledge of widespread Ring cameras is the only thing that keeps some people’s trucks from getting keyed to shit, is all I’m saying.
I like how you scrolled past a comment with a huge list of worker co-ops just in the US (there are also multinational ones) to tell someone else that it sounded too theoretical and complicated to work, lmao.
You think there are no large worker co-ops in the US? Embarrassing. You’ve never heard of Bob’s Red Mill or Publix?
And because I’m sure you aren’t happy with two examples, here’s an incomplete list of notable worker co-ops in the US from Wikipedia:
But yeah, dawg, worker co-ops are fake news.
PS: is there some reason you omitted the two sentences before that which make it clear this is one method of organizing worker’s co-ops?
If exercised directly, all members meet regularly to make—and vote on—decisions on how the co-operative is run. Direct workers’ cooperatives sometimes use consensus decision-making to make decisions
I think admins should do whatever is necessary to comply with their local laws, and that’s all I’ve got to say about that.
Blaming the white majority that voted for Trump: ✋😤
Finding a scapegoat minority to blame: 😍
At a party given by a billionaire on Shelter Island, Kurt Vonnegut informs his pal, Joseph Heller, that their host, a hedge fund manager, had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his wildly popular novel Catch-22 over its whole history.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — enough.”
I think the decades of family and social pressure telling me that my appearance defined my self worth which I experienced when I was raised as a girl is the reason I wear a hat to cover my balding head, thanks for asking!
Same guy? I don’t know where this particular ideologue lives, but it would hardly be the first (second, third, fourth…) time newspapers “accidentally” presented career conservatives as a “randomly selected” voter.
