Ah yes, a perfect example of what OP was talking about. Good work finding it so we can point and laugh at the people that keep looking for someone to blame for their own choices.

That is not in agreement with exit polling, what is your source?
It wasn’t the one issue, it was just the one that stuck with people who needed an excuse to not show up and vote for a woman.
To add to what the other person said, the biggest enemy of the boring party that wants to make the country better and isn’t making up ridiculous claims is apathy. (Not truly just apathy, but also people have lives to lead and it’s not like they get the day off, and voting isn’t the center of their life)
Mostly just look at the polling numbers after Harris was announced and how they have slowly fallen since then. There may be other reasons of course, but I find it hard to believe that people who supported Harris ever have any less support for her on a topic when comparing her to Trump.
Arnold absolutely sucks for what he did, I have long pointed to it as one example of why he shouldn’t be so glorified for not being completely insane as other Republicans.
That said, the other poster you’re talking to is in the right here, you’re ignoring the point entirely.
You are inventing that anyone is condoning killing innocent’s BUT that’s not even important.
You get to pick, you want more deaths, less deaths, or don’t care.
There are no other impacts you can have with your vote.
If you care deeply you can join marches and protest. The many people who are doing so will gladly tell you Harris is not doing enough, but that it would be idiotic to not vote for her.
In politics you choose a direction. Do you want more death, less death, or don’t care about the deaths.
Trump is more deaths, Harris is less deaths, not voting is that you don’t care about the deaths (or a different differentiating issue matters more)
Those are your choices when it comes to voting and encouraging others to vote.
That is your impact, pick one
Definitely just vote.
Polls are meaningless, even in 2020 they still underestimated Trump across the board, but no one talked about it because it wasn’t a close race.
2024 polls have Trump more likely to win and rising
No way with this supreme court. They already gave blanket immunity for anything done as president, which is absolutely insane and should have people rioting
I would place the most blame on Regan for gutting social infrastructure surrounding mental health and safety
We’re all aging like US presidents now
Musk wasting money to support fellow inhumane people is a given, if what you said happens the only delta with normalcy is the victims of alt-right trash finally will get compensated
In order for politics to align towards your values you have to vote for the candidate closest to them, which forces the losing parties to get closer or die, which pushes the winning party to move towards you.
If you throw away or don’t vote none of that happens because you have no impact.
I’m with you and all, but shouldn’t we wait before considering it a victory?
Plenty of racists and sexists out there who won’t say a word about Harris publicly but will vote for Trump the second they enter the booth no matter what.
Sounds like a wild judgement of another person who you know nothing about.
Agreed completely, the fact that some continue to swim in that cess pool confuses me
“the same way I’m against carbs” is instantly now going to be one of my commonly used phrases.
I’ll add another:
He does it, not pretends someone else is requiring he do it
Yeah but they get away with it because their audience only cares/is fed the stuff they agree with
Trump said the government should be allowed to take people’s guns without due process (just breaking two constitutional amendments, NBD) and Republicans just had to wait a couple days and their voters forgot about it
The electorate picked the racist rapist trump, that’s what represents America.
To say that a political party should stray further from what the majority of Americans that stepped up to vote for is what is out of touch.
