It may not be the best strategy, but enshittification is when a digital service has its customers caugt with vendor lock-in and then exploits them for more profit

IMO this is not enshittification, it’s not the websites fault they struggle with bots. It may not be the best strategy, but enshittification is when a digital service has its customers caugt with vendor lock-in and then exploits them for more profit
