They are, well legally speaking at least, and Lambda Legal and the ACLU are defending them.

Right now someone at pflag should be looking for those contact lists they unfortunately lost every copy of right before they were asked.

I definitely get the impression people on both sides feel this whole “slavery is bad” thing wasn’t properly addressed last go-round, among other things.

They also seem to be really concerned about all the women who are suffraging, and are doing their best to rescue them from such unspeakable and unladylike depravity - whether they like it or not.

I remember in high school I got a majority of students in my class to sign petitions to end women’s suffrage and ban dihydrogen monoxide. I have not found conditions in the “real world” substantially different.

I’m still chuckling over the way I learned about suffragettes. By playing red dead redemption 2. I earned brownie points on more than one occasion. Video games are not all bad, hear me out!

You know… Land of the free and such. So much freedom you’ll get persecuted for who you are and whom you love. Can’t have that.

Where have I seen that before? Was it that one Germanic country in Europe? I’ve forgotten the name, but it ended with “any” and had a dude with a strange mustache as a leader.

And no I don’t think it’s an exaggeration. The Nazis didn’t start murdering, they sneaked up on the country, started making lists, started spreading lies and fear, started a “them versus us” litany. Sounds familiar? Yeah, for me as well.

Is it normal, as a Texan evac, to be afraid of joining PFLAG in another state? I used to feel that was just one of my psychosis symptoms, unwillingness to join a formal rainbow group and actually socialize, but now I’m increasingly unsure

they’re just cliques fam, find the good people already in your circle and hold them close. rubbing elbows and trying to fit in with various “queer” groups and orgs as a baby tran was awful for my mental health, you just become a stepping stone for some more privileged person’s clout-building.
