Yes, they love this kind of thing. “Erm why do so many people think the RF is the USSR??” Never found out what their basis for this is, maybe they took offence at DPR and LPR guys hoisting the flag themselves. It’s blatantly sidestepping any argument people make about the structure of imperialism in the modern day. They closed themselves off from communists in the global south so that they can engage in pageantry like this. It’s why everyone adores the KKE.
