I’ve been watching early 2000s crime dramas, and frankly, seeing the best on offer in the US admin, I can’t even imagine there are competent people inside any organization anymore. I feel the writers guild has really polished the balls of people in power, when I’m really seeing a lot of bumbling oafs in charge of stuff, not heroes or anyone willing to actually solve anything.
