Are you using Linux? Do you have the right codecs installed? Firefox shouldn’t be jerky.
Linux: Yes, Linux Mint Xfce 22.1

mint-meta-codecs.Everything seems fine in Zen, Falkon, FreeTube, SMPlayer, VLC etc.
