When I browse documentaries on streaming platforms, around 50% are true crime. Then around 20% are about food, 20% about aliens, and the rest comprise the remaining 10%. Producers need to take a break from all the true crime content.
Is it so popular because so many are made; or so many are made because it’s so popular?
