When the fuck am I going to stop learning about celebrity deaths via memes?!

    Edit: (above statement is rhetorical)

Fair lol; I should have added a rhetorical tag to my comment.

I gotta go back to living under a rock on my retro games and craft hobbies and wait for my loved ones to tell me so I can preserve my sanity at this point

I haven’t properly crafted in a while but I love to bake, and I used to draw and do (very beginner level) origami! Working on getting back into both, very slowly.

Absolute favorite retro game is hard, but I think it’s a toss up between Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite or Deus Ex 1 (and its fan game, “The Nameless Mod”).

I don’t have to rely on memes, because after my sister mentioned a couple of celebrity deaths in the family group chat, we nominated her to keep is informed of all celebrity deaths.

I had to root out stories for Val Kilmer because they were nowhere on my news apps when it happened - and that one I only caught due to a smart TV ad.

You make a solid point though. I should probably curate RSS feeds since Apple News has been garbage the past 1.5 years so I’ve avoided it, and the All feed here is constant US politics and hackernews articles.
