It’s interesting to see Apple fighting the EU’s regulatory bodies while complying with everything that the Chinese government asks.

There’s a simple reason for this. If Apple doesn’t follow every single one of the Chinese government’s orders, they may be entirely banned from the country. In the EU, specially being it a union that prioritises democracy, they can complain all they want.

Yup, these corporate loonies love screeching about the European Union so much while they do everything they can to appeal to China while selling out their own soul.

Jesus the GSMArena comment section is exhausting to read. What does MAGA have to do with any of this?

If Apple doesn’t stop this “EU is making us remove features” nonsense soon, my next phone is going to be whatever Android has a healthy update life guarantee and easily unlockable bootloader.

Ah but that’s exactly the point. Get you pissed so you ask the government to remove those regulations.

The Fairphone is really looking sweet. I’m fairly sure my next phone will be a fairphone if it’s at all feasible for me, but I expect my current phone to last at least a few more years.
