It’s just that the pictures imply but do not state things explicitly so we didn’t really understand. Also the characters look different between the first (and second) and third panels, so we couldn’t be sure who was who and what was going on.
I think it makes more sense if you realize that and the red bottles in the crate is how many are being purchased at the 50% discount and not the shops discount bin like i first thought
