If Gary has any shred of charisma, people will respect his opinions and listen to his words. That applies to young individuals too.

When I was around 13, there was this teacher guy that all the kids respected. He was fun and could be scary stern when the situation demanded it. Kids really liked him and listened to him. He was not rich, his teeth was somewhat discolored cause of tobaco use and I would call him a Gary type character, with an unremarkable life style. But he had charisma and a commanding presence.

I suspect that if anyone parrots tates teachings in proximity to that teacher, they woul become the laughing stock of the class for a week. And they would be ashamed of themselves and remember that for the rest of their lives.

He was a good and competent teacher too.

Taking the lead, showing initiative and being enthusiastic takes energy. People are lazy. So if you are expected to let someone else do it, then that is an easy choice allot of the time.

Yes there are women all over that enjoy this role from time to time. The more comfortable you are with your partner; the more you can expect to see this behaviour in them.

Males and females are not that different. Your local community might be used to theese roles though.

Worth noting; people offten act the way they think you like them to act. They might think they are expected to wait for you to take charge. As you get familiar, that might change.

I assume it’s similar how I can’t get in to manga, but I can enjoy a novel or animated stuff. Just can’t seem to enjoy those black and white squares with questionable art in them. Just doesn’t speak to me.

They buy aggregated data from every other company and organisation in existance. That includes your purchase history and behaviour in great detail. Of course they will also have the data of your relatives and friends, which they will take in to account.

How would that work?
