Context doesn’t make it any better. He literally thinks attacking pedophiles is akin to rape and murder lol (not actually lol, quite sad)
I saw someone say that he clearly meant to say “stop protecting pedophiles”, but I don’t know if they were saying it sarcastically or not.
It’d be pretty funny if that’s what he meant, though. “And we gotta stop protecting the pedophiles! C’mon, you’ve been doing it, I’ve been doing it, let’s just all agree to knock it off.”
Having just read the transcript, my guess is he meant to say lets stop ‘attacking pedophiles’. I havent heard the audio so i dont know if his actual speech and intonation reflect that, and it physically pains me to give him the benefit of the doubt, but here I am.

If you mean to say you think he was saying it with implied quotations, no, he wasn’t. Neither his voice nor body language show that.
